Motorhome rental in Las Vegas

Discover the possibilities of motorhome rentals in Las Vegas at GoTravelhome. Las Vegas is best known for its extravagant hotels and casinos. Las Vegas can be recognized by its many neon lights and the city is recognizable from a great distance from the surrounding desert. Today, Las Vegas is Nevada's largest city, and with associated suburbs such as Henderson and Boulder, Las Vegas is among the fastest growing cities in the United States.

Las Vegas is located in Clark County, Nevada. The city is located in the middle of the desert. On the west side are the Spring Mountains. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city is 620 meters above sea level and covers an area of 351.9 km². Of this, almost 351.8 km² is land and 0.13 km² (0.03% of the total) is water. Especially in places of high tourist arrivals, there is a lot of planted greenery and artificial open water within the city.

Las Vegas is best known for its entertainment industry. There are many hotels and casinos that are making increasing efforts to bring people from all directions to Las Vegas. This results in a strong development of new techniques but also a high level of advertising around the entertainment industry. Most hotels and casinos today are located on the Strip, a section of Las Vegas Boulevard. That the hotels today are located on Las Vegas Boulevard is because in the past, all casinos not located on Fremont Street had to be located outside the Las Vegas city limits. This city boundary ended at the Boulevard and so this is where the new hotels and casinos were built. Strictly speaking, the Strip is in the town of Paradise, but since Las Vegas is much better known, it is said for convenience that the Strip is in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Boulevard runs parallel to Interstate 15 and the section referred to as Strip is between Sahara Avenue and Russel Road. This is from closed Sahara in the north to Mandalay Bay in the south. The Strip used to officially run as far as Tropicana Avenue (near the MGM Grand), but due to many build-outs, this boundary has moved further and further south.
