Mozambique is a country located in Southeast - Africa. It covers a large area along the east coast bordering Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Swaziland and the Mozambique Strait. On the other side is the island of Madagascar. The coast of Mozambique is Ca. 2700 km long, which is comparable to about the same distance as you would travel from the Netherlands to Lisbon via the coastline. Mozambique therefore consists mainly of flat coastal areas with snow-white beaches, beautiful clear blue water and the beautiful islands. It is therefore certainly one of the most beautiful coastal areas in the southern hemisphere. Inland Mozambique has a more rugged landscape with mountains, rainforests and, of course, lots of wildlife. Mozambique has a lot to offer and is not as touristy as other destinations. The seasons are the opposite of Europe. The rainy season runs from October to March and is often accompanied by thunderstorms and coastal storms. The best travel time and dry season is from April to September. On the coast there is a tropical and humid climate, the water temperature, for example, rarely drops below twenty degrees, so you can go into the water all year round.
